Today I finished my final project of my first year at College. Also today I've decided to use this new journal template. The images I have included in this update are the images used for my college project but they're also the photos I took recently in my time away in South Wales, namely a village called Llangfihangel Tallylyn.
I aimed from the off to get photographs that really represented the rural life present in this part of the UK. I hope you agree with me when I say I feel I have done so and would love to hear any creative critique from you. The first couple of images on the right is an example of some of the images I took while away there.
I've recently started up a Weekly Foto log on my Facebook, like a blog sorta thing, I would love to get as many comments on each upload as possible, so if you have Facebook please feel free to add me, my name can be found on my profile page.
As for my next shoot, I'm contemplating the idea of shooting more light graffiti. The first time round was to learn the technique, now I feel I may be able to master it. You can find the results of the experimentation me and two friends achieved. These photos were taken at night, over long exposures if around 20-30 seconds, for my next light graffs, I think attempting some in more urban environments will be a good challenge, as these will require much more precision in both the photography aspect of choosing a good location to shoot and mastering the settings of my DSLR but also managing to draw in the air well with the lights. The results of my first shot at light graffiti can be found in my gallery, there's around 10 images or so, but also one of my favourites can be found on the right of this journal entry.
If anyone has any tips on these two details, I would greatly appreciate that.
Thanks.
